Who we are

POLYMERMESH is the export brand of Xuzhou Weikelao Mining Technology Co., Ltd. (徐州维克劳矿业科技有限公司), registered in China. We are the data controller for information collected through this website. Questions about this policy, or any request about your data, should be sent to our email.

02

What we collect

Only what you give us, plus basic technical data: enquiry and order details — name, company, email, country, delivery city and state, and whatever you write in the message field; delivery information — the address your goods are shipped to; technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site you arrived from; and payment records — the fact that a payment was made, its amount, and the transaction reference, but not your card number. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

03

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation; to process, ship and support your order; to meet accounting, tax and customs obligations; and to keep the site working and understand which pages are useful. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.

04

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies only, including one that remembers which language version of the site you chose. If we enable web analytics, it will be listed here and you will be able to opt out through your browser settings. You can block or delete cookies at any time; essential functions may stop working if you do.

05

Who we share it with

Only where it is necessary to serve you, and never for anyone else's marketing: our payment provider, to take and refund payments; carriers and freight forwarders, to deliver your goods; customs brokers and authorities, where the law requires it; and our email and website hosting providers. We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

06

Payment data

Card and payment details are entered on our payment provider's own secure page. They do not pass through our servers and we cannot see them. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, its amount, and a transaction reference.

07

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept while the enquiry is live and for up to two years afterwards. Order, invoice and shipping records are kept for as long as accounting, tax and customs rules require, which is normally five to seven years. If you have asked to receive updates from us, we keep your contact details until you ask us to stop.

08

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. If you are in the EU or UK, these rights come from the GDPR. If you are in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you similar rights, including the right to know what we collect and to ask us not to sell it — we do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these, email us. We may need to verify your identity first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

09

Where your data is processed

We operate from China. Information you send us may be stored and processed in China, and by our service providers in other countries. Where we transfer personal data out of the EU or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting existing orders will be communicated directly.

Note. This page is a plain-language summary for the enquiry stage. Contract terms are set out in full on the proforma invoice and its attached conditions, which prevail over this page. Wording on this page is not legal advice.
